The Founders' Journey

My name is Aleksej Dix, and I am the co-founder of Allyship. The path to creating this service has been deeply personal and rooted in my professional experiences. With over 20 years of expertise in frontend development, user-centered design, and accessibility, I've always been passionate about building digital solutions that make life easier and more inclusive for all.

I am joined by my wife, Lidia Dix, who is an exceptional executor and manager. Her ability to organize, lead, and bring out the best in everyone has been instrumental in shaping Allyship. With her natural talent for helping others and ensuring projects run smoothly, she adds a unique and invaluable dimension to our mission.

Growing up, I witnessed the challenges faced by people close to me who had disabilities or unique needs. Watching them struggle to access information, communicate, and fully participate in society planted the seed for what would eventually become Allyship. As I pursued my career in technology, I began to understand how thoughtful design and innovation could bridge these gaps.

Over the years, I've honed my skills as a frontend developer, earning recognition for designing intuitive and accessible interfaces. However, I've also seen firsthand how many companies overlook accessibility, treating it as an afterthought rather than a fundamental aspect of development. This lack of prioritization inspired me, along with my wife, to step up and take action.
